Podiatrists provide medical and surgical care for people suffering foot, ankle and lower leg problems. They diagnose illnesses, treat injuries, and perform surgery. Podiatrists treat calluses, ingrown toenails, heel spurs and arch problems. They also treat foot and leg problems associated with diabetes and other diseases.

The Pre-Podiatry program at bet36365体育 is designed to fulfill the admission requirements at most podiatry schools, but students should check with the specific schools to which they intend to apply to ensure that all requirements are met.

A minimum of 90 semester hours are required for admission at most podiatry schools. However, the majority of students entering podiatry school have a baccalaureate degree. Pre-Podiatry program is intended to be completed concurrently with a bachelor's degree.
